Real food, virtually cooked.
My Chef Lara is introducing a new service for everyone who would like to eat a gourmet chef quality meal AND learn how to cook it from the safety of their own home. We will be hosting a live cook along session Friday 4/24 at 6 PM for customers who want to join us. As our first meal demo, we will prepare our famous Southwestern Beef Chili with Corn!
What to expect
We will expertly cook the meals for all our participants on Wednesday of each event week and then deliver the packed and cooked meals to prearranged pick–up points in Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts. Participants who sign up for the cooking class can pick up their meal at one of the pick-up points. Chefs Norbert and Holly will then host a demo on Friday where they will explain how to cook the meal via a video conference from their kitchen in Providence. In this cooking demo everyone who purchased a ticket and picked up a meal can participate via video conference, ask questions and receive the final recipe and pricing information for that meal.
The best part of the experience is that participants already have the prepared meal at their home, they can warm it up and can taste it while learning how to cook it! Customers will be able to ask our chefs questions or comment on the delicious food! We expect the demo to take around 45 to 60 minutes.
How to Participate
Cost for the meal and the cooking lesson is $20. Tickets for this virtual cooking class will be offered through Eventbrite. The number of participants for the first lesson is limited to around 20 people and offered on a first come first serve basis. We hope to see you there! Click here to reserve your spot
